This light is perfect in case of emergencies, power outages, or if you just need some light. With 12 bright LED’s it is a great flood light, but move the switch on the top into a different mode and you have a great 5 LED flashlight, which produces more of a spot light. It has a built in handle for carrying or it can be easily set down or hung from the wall using its mounting holes. It can run off 3 D size batteries, or with the wall adaptor included.

I used this LED bulb to replace a 40 Watt incandescent candelabra bulb. The regular candelabra bulb was too hot for the fixture and was damaging the lamp shade.

The LED bulb is brighter than the 40 Watt traditional incandescent bulb and much, much cooler. The only con, is that the LED bulb is a bright blue-white. I much prefer the softer amber color of an incandescent bulb. I wish the manufacturers would offer an amber option with these bulbs. If it weren’t for the harsh white light, I would have given this product five stars

This bulb fits into an standard Candelabra base (know as E12 or C7 Base). Inside, there are 15 SMT (surface mounted) bright LED that are 5-10 times brighter that 5 mm LED. It only uses 2 watt and has an output of a 20 watt incandescent bulb. These bulbs are great for accent, and mood lighting. Because of its’ shape this bulb is also know as the candle or torpedo light bulb. I bought the Florescent Candle Light Candelabra Bulb in white from Lowe’s which comes with an a larger screw in stem adapter for the bulb. The only problem with the florescent bulb, it did not always turn on in cold weather. As where as the LED bulb does, but as a twist of faith. The LED does not come with the screw in stem adapter, so….. Twist of faith, my indoor light needed replacing, used the florescent bulb which did not need the adapter that it came with. And used the adapter outside for the LED bulb. Also just to tell you folks Home Depot does not sell the the Florescent Candle Light Candelabra Bulb and neither Lowe’s or Home Depot sell the LED Candle bulb or regular LED bulb.
