I wanted to replace a 30 year old string of tree lights, many of which were twinkle bulbs. The GKI LED bulbs, although they do not twinkle on and off, provide fascinating random changes with a 7 color cycle. Once the string is warmed up, each bulb switches colors at a different pace. The customer review video titled ‘fun lights’ provided by ‘D O’ is well worth watching for anyone considering these bulbs. The video and written review convinced me to buy these bulbs.br /br /Perhaps the price seems a bit high for only 20 bulbs. I bought 2 strings since my Christmas trees are usually about 5 feet tall. I am impressed with the quality of the bulbs, a hard-shelled clear plastic, and hopeful that with the LED technology, this product will last a great many years making my total cost worth the money I spent.
